How to introduce water to your baby, when can my baby drink water, how much water can

You asked and I answered.

Earlier this week, I quickly shared in a video of what a day in the life looked like for me. What I forgot to mention was that was me on a good day. The truth is, I never know how my day will play out and you never see what’s really behind the tired eyes.

I always strive #forbetterbeginnings but that’s not always the case. Sometimes my frustrations of no sleep, stress and everyday life get to me.

Behind the Tired Eyes

Being a parent can be as challenging as it is rewarding. As a #Playtexmom I know that moments in motherhood can be spontaneous. Basically, you should expect the unexpected.

I’m a firm believer in letting things go and enjoying the moments. So we don’t have a regular schedule. This can be both adventurous as it is stressful.

One thing that is always a part of my days are the diaper changes and how many of them I do a day. Between the two littles, I average 7-10 diapers a day. And yes, Abel is still in pull-ups, but I’ll save that post for another day.

How I Make Diaper Changes Fun with two

I’m the mom that has two Playtex® Diaper Genie® Elites. We usually spend our days downstairs and my changing table is upstairs. So having access to a Diaper Genie® on each floor is a must.

As soon as I wake up, the first two things that come to my mind are “coffee!” and “diaper changes!”. I hate the thought of having the boys in dirty diapers so I grab our things and head downstairs.

I’m on a mission to change those diapers ASAP!

I usually ask Abel, “So who’s first, you or Isaiah?” and he says with so much pride, “ME! ME! MOMMY!”.

So I lay them both down right next to each other and I get to work.  Once I finish I tickle them and I sing a song I made up.

“I have two babies, one named Abel and one named Isaiah.”

I’ll sing the song while I tickle their bellies at the same time. I love staring at them first thing in the morning. All wide-eyed and ready for our day. They have no idea whats behind the tired eyes of their mommy.
