I’ve have been able to play around with my Savvy Curl headband a few times now and found that my stubborn and thick hair does not curl while completely dry! booo!! However, I was determined to make this work. So finally After my third attempt, I figured out the perfect “no heat curl recipe” for hair like mine!

  1. My hair must be  80%  dry before I wrap my hair. What does this mean ? It means that I have to take a blow dryer to my hair after I take a shower.
  2. Applying Mousse is important.
  3. For better results, sleeping with my headband is a must. Which is 100% ok with me, because the headband is very non invasive. I don’t even feel it on my head 😛
  4.  Do not unravel your hair all at once. This will make your curls tangle and detangling curls is VERY time consuming 😛

For some more Tips & Tricks head over to Savvy Curls and watch their video tutorials.

The Savvy Curls heatless headband has been such a major time saver for this mama. I cut down my morning routine in half by using the Savvy Curls Headband AND I have been able to sport some gorgeous curls during my work week.

So what do you say? Are you ready to try it out for yourself? Well, one of you will be able to because  Savvy Curls has graciously offered to giveaway a headband to one of my lucky readers. Head over to my Instagram Page for all the details! Good luck 🙂

My go to hair product would be my redken 18 hairspray. It does not make my hair feel stiff:)

  2. My go to is OGX Brazilian Keratin flat iron spray :). I use it even when I’m not using the flat iron and it keeps the friz away.

  3. @Eunoia_yesterday

Glad I found your blog via Instagram 🙂 I can’t live without my toning shampoo, and the hair serum from Arbonne…saves my poor stressed hair!

  4. Annrebecca

Love following you on Instagram. My go to hair product would be my heat protectant spray. But obviously that wouldn’t be needed with the saavy curls heatless headband. And always my smoothing serum for all my crazy fly aways.

    • Thank you Rebecca! I do have a heat protectant spray from Tresamme but I rarely use it since using the Savvy Curl Headband! Good luck 🙂

  5. Jude Vilela

Totally tried this with a wrapped shirt. Hahahah! But you know my go to hair product would be dry shampoo. All about that life since coloured hair boo. Hahahah.

      • Jude Vilela

It somewhat worked! ? But some parts I kinda tangled it hahahah. The shirt was too small. Wooops LOL.

  6. Tara Cox Mitchell

My go to, beach wave texturizing spray!

  7. My must have hair product is frizz control serum

    • Yes I also have a Frizz Control Serum and it works wonders ! I never know how much to put on though 😛

  8. Heather D.

My must have hair product is Not your Mother’s knotty to nice. It’s especially great on 5 year Olds hair because she always has knots!

    • oh I have bleached ends so brushing through that is always a pain! I do recommend the wet brush as well though!

  9. Kelley Larsen

Your hair looks awesome after doing this. I would love to try this because I can never get my hair to hold curl. My must have product is John Frieda Finishing Cream. Helps control frizz. It’s usually the only product I use on my hair!

    • Thank you Kelly!! I followed all the above steps ! Sleeping on it was what did it. I simply ran my fingers through my hair and added hair spray and the last picture was the look I got ! I love John Frieda, I have used his color correction shampoo and conditioner but not his frizz control.

This is such an awesome product!! I’ve never heard of it until now and I always drool over swoon worthy natural curls like these. I would LOVE to try it! My favorite hair product would have to be anything that gives me body and texture while helping out oily roots. I love a spray I can use like amika’s body spray and then blow dry. It helps with my very fine hair. Dry shampoo is also a MUST! As a busy mom who doesn’t wash my hair for a couple days I have been on the dry shampoo train for awhile! I’ve tried soooo many even this company you are featuring-I got a sample in a birchbox. One of my favorites is the Oscar Blandi powder though. It has a tip on the bottle so you don’t have a bunch of powder dump out and you can get to the roots. It also smells like lemongrass! Thanks for the change Heydy!! ? Fingers crossed for good hair days! And a win!

  11. Would love to try this! My favorite product is bumble and bumble dry shampoo to make my style last longer and hey me though those days when I just can’t deal with my hair

  12. Amanda Helton

I’ve been dying to try savvy curls! I bought something similar, but my curls fall flat after an hour or so. My fav hair product is dry shampoo, a must for any momma! I also love leave in conditioners, gotta keep my hair healthy, which is why I want savvy curls!

    • hahah I can assure you that this are long lasting curls! I would suggest using hairspray but thats pretty much it ! Good luck on the giveaway 🙂

  13. Erica Duchett Ludwig

How amazing!! Would love to win one!

  14. @mimichap

I would love to try this product. I have tried so many products to get a little curl to my hair but after countless dollars it always fails. Maybe this will be the dream come true.

  15. Jennifer Meecham

Paul Mitchell freeze and shine hairspray is my must have hair product.

  16. K Campbell

I saw a girl at Discount Tire wearing a savvy girl headband and was so intrigued. She explained how it worked and everything and I’ve wanted to try it out ever since! My hair could really use a break from heat. On another note, as of right now, my favorite hair product that is a MUST is dry shampoo. It has been a life saver 🙂

  17. Breanne Simons

My must have hair product is dry shampoo! I love it!

  18. My must have is uniqone! Best detangler ever! Fingers crossed I win! I’ve been wanting to get one especially with baby number 3 on the way!

  19. Love dry shampoo!! Being pregnant and having a 3 year old, a shower isn’t always possible and it saves my hair 🙂
