I’m definitely not a Pinterest mom. In fact, I’m quite the opposite. When  a group of Vancouver Mom bloggers decided to get together for a Valentines Day shoot, I was game! The catch… we all needed to contribute a DIY that was valentines day themed {insert horrified face here}!

Thank goodness for my friend Keisha of Loving Littles Blog, who sent a picture of this super easy, super cute DIY that only took me 30 minutes to complete.

What you’ll need !

  1. Plastic White Table Cloth (x2)
  2. Black Paint
  3. Flat Paintbrush (bigger the better)
  4. Paint Pallette

Directions:

Step 1:

Place your Black paint on to your clean paint palette.

Step 2:

Dip your Flat Paintbrush into the Black paint and start drawing X’s and O’s onto your Plastic Table Cloth. Repeat this step until you are done covering 1 of the Plastic Table cloths. You will use the second one to make the first one look less sheer (see below for reference). Wait a couple hours for the paint to dry.

and Voila your very own Valentines Day Table Cloth!

  3. I LOVE this, and it’s totally something I could do (and then not get mad when my kids inevitably mess it up; i can definitely get some tablecloths at the dollar store, too. Score!

    • HAHAH, yes that’s why I loved this one so much. I actually messed up a few times but went with it anyways 😉

The only thing I would change is getting a cheap, flat bedsheet from walmart or ikea… you can get them for a couple bucks, and painting it with fabric paint. Then you can pull it out every valentines day! Such a fun idea!

This is so cute for any party, let alone a valentines party. Hmm might have to try for our baby shower 🙂
