Mama’s with more than one toddler, can I ask you something ?

How do you do it?!

I have one and I just can’t keep up. Abel has seriously thrown me for a complete learning curve that I wasn’t mentally prepared for. I thought after having one kid, I knew exactly what I was in for, but boy, was I completely wrong! This Little Mover is constantly running, climbing, jumping and falling that sometimes I start to sweat chasing after him..(not kidding)… The struggle is real. Thankfully I can sleep easy knowing that my little mover is not only protected during the day but Huggies Little Movers Plus has him covered during his sweet slumber.

Now let’s talk about the “emergency” days that come along with motherhood.

Mamas, you know what I’m talking about right!? That day that you were “just” going out for 15 minutes so you decided  to leave everything at home. What about the day you forgot to pack toys or snacks to help your toddler keep happy during his play? AND of course, that one day is the day that he has a complete meltdown on you!? Or even worse, how about that day that you run out of diapers because you were so frantic trying to get out of the house that you totally forgot to restock your diaper bag? We’ve all been there and from on mom to another… It happens and that’s ok!

If you think I’m lying, keep reading because it’s about to get real.

As a self proclaimed “veteran” in motherhood, I was in for a rude awakening. As many of you know, I keep busy. Not intentially but having more than one child, a full time job, day to day mommying and lack of sleep is one of the many combinations that cause #mombrain.

Here’s my personal “OH MY GOD” story, I had just changed Abel prior to leaving the house, to get on with our days. We were headed to the mall and thought I was fully prepared for my outing with Jay & Abel, again… I was wrong. It turns out that Abel decided to poop and somehow managed too get it on his back, down his leg, front and back…it was just gross. I was horrified to find out that I didn’t pack any diapers or extra clothing! I’ll save you the icky details but lets just say that I had to walk around the mall gathering brand new diapers and clothes while pushing a stinky baby down the corriders. ICK.

Well Mamas, I’ve got a solution for everyone that has ever been diagnosed with #mombrain just like me. It happens to the best of us. With this super quick and painless list, you can be ready for those emergency days! Here’s How To Pack Your Emergency Kit For Your Active Toddler:

1. Diapers

Lots of them! Well no, not really, when your in an Emergency situation just a couple will do. With Huggies Little Movers Plus (exclusively sold at Costco) your active toddler is provided with 12 hours of super absorbent protection ! Mamas that means you don’t have to worry about leakage and your toddler can play comfortably and freely!

Huggies Little Movers Plus is the perfect choice if you’re packing for your active toddler (which I usually am).

2. Clothes

Now the best part of packing clothes for your kit is that you can have fun with it !! I usually pack clothing that are comfy and easy to put on. I mean… After a spill or a poop does if really matter ?! It’s an emergency remember !

3. Colouring book & Crayons

You might be thinking.. Well why a colouring book and crayons? And let me tell you, after the poop ordeal, all I wanted was a break …so keeping Abel distracted with an activity helped me ponder where I want wrong. LOL.

4. Snacks

After pooping all his food out, what better way to celebrate with a snack ?!

5. Water

If you have an active toddler like I do then I suggest hydrating them every once in a while. It will help them with their poop later.;)

Alright, so now that you have all your emergency kit supplies with your Huggies Little Movers Plus diapers ready, pack them into a ziploc, throw the kit into your trunk and you are now fully equipped for those dreaded emergencies.

  1. Shannan Panganiban

Don’t know why I dont have one of these yet! Definitely need one!!

  2. Raising Twincesses

Girl, I have two toddlers, it’s insane!!! I always keep an emergency kit in my car, one at my sisters, one at grandparents, and one in their backpacks for preschool days! When they were like 6 months old I ran out of diapers and was at a friends (who has no kids) and I ended up having to use a sanitary napkin on one of the girls and run out to the store for more diapers! EMBARRASSING! Now I always keep spare diapers, wipes, clothes, toys, snacks, mini first aid kit, hand sanitizer and lollipops in all my emergency kits!!!!

  3. Emergency kits are a must! I have four little ones, all under the age of 5, and it is crucial to pack extra clothing and necessities for them.

  4. Costco is the best for diapers! I’ve been unprepared one too many times. I need to make one of these asap!

  5. Bernadette

I would also add a little kids flashlight or light up toy, just in case the emergency happens at night! Great post. I will be making myself one of these kits.

  6. I have a similar kit that I keep in the car (sub the crayons for hot wheels). It’s saved me more than once!!!
