Dempster’s knows that a sandwich is integral to a great school lunch. They also know that there are children across Canada who don’t have access to fresh bread.

Give the Gift of Lunch With Dempster’s #BuyALunchGiveALunch
When I was growing up we couldn’t afford the hot lunch program so my mom always packed us a lunch. It usually included a sandwich, fruit, a juice box and a small snack. You know the usual stuff!
This back to school season, when you buy any Dempster’s product, they will donate bread to a local food bank in need. Which is so near in dear to my heart I had to share with you.
Not only will you be providing your kids with delicious sandwiches for their lunch bags, but you will be providing the same to families and children in need.
We recently grabbed a bag of Dempster’s bread and brought it on our boat outing {see pictures above}! It was a great way to refuel without having to worry about the kids (and us) getting hungry.
Dempster’s is made by Canadians, for Canadians
Canada is a sandwiching loving nation, but not all Canadians can easily afford them. Which is why Dempster’s is donating up to two million slices of bread to local food banks across Canada this Fall.
You bet that I will be running out to my local grocery store to support this initiative! There are 14 different type of sliced bread so there is something for everyone in your family.
Let’s spread the word about the #BuyALunchGiveALunch initiative and celebrate Dempster’s #MadeInCanada status this back to school season. So Canadian eh?
