We received our PlasmaCar from PlaSmart Toys in exchange for an honest review. As always ,all opinions are my own. Please read my Disclaimer Page for more information.

Hey Guys!

I have something special for children over three, so if that sounds like your babes, then keep reading! Wait….. Who am I kidding ?! This is fun for the whole family! Of course, you may want to exercise some safety guidelines, such as having an adult/family member supervise your little’s ones (age 1-3), avoiding steep hills, swimming pools and traffic. Since the PlasmaCar can get up to 10 km/hour (6 mph), I suggest opting for the PlasmaBike for your toddler, which is recommended for children 18 months and up!

If you have been a long time follower or just found my blog, you probably already know how important Jayden is to me. Of course, Abel is just as important, but because I became Jayden’s mom at the tender age of sixteen, it has allowed us to create a very unique relationship. One thing that I am open about on this space, is that Jayden and I have “Date Nights”.  I’ve always found it to be comforting and relaxing to take Jayden to the park or movies and create some amazing memories.

This got me thinking, How can I spice things up. Sounds weird right ? How dare I care to be different and try to have fun with my child! HA! Then I thought…”why don’t you just ask him?”. To be quite frank, I have never considered that before, if he is old enough to tell me what food he does and doesn’t like then he is more then capable of telling what he enjoys to do with his mama. So I did just that. With a little bit of bribing aka telling him I would take him on a date night, he helped me compile a list of 8 super rad date ideas for your super rad son – he made me add that part, he suggested cool but I was like nah, lets do rad instead, I may have made the wrong decision. HAHA.

PlasmaCar

There’s nothing worse then dragging your child outside and forced to have fun, especially now a days. All they want to do is sit in front of the computer or watch TV. I am a huge advocate for children playing outside OR at least using some sort of movement that requires them excerpt their energy. Adding the PlasmaCar to the mix can help in a variety of ways. Using no batteries, gears or pedals, the only source of power for your PlasmaCar is your child Energy.  Not only will the PlasmaCar get your child moving but it is really neat toy that has won multiple awards and will provide your kid with some wonderful memories. I do caution that you should not use it on hard wood floors as it may scratch them and avoid any uneven ground, because it will cause some major traction and probably wont get moving 😛  As previously mentioned, please exercise safety when you are using the PlasmaCar. The last thing we want is having your child getting hurt. If you are interested in purchasing a PlasmaCar or Plasma Bike then click this link.

Movies

This is how our Date Nights started.  Since I don’t “have” Jayden on the weekends (his dad and I split time) and because I didn’t want to fork up forty dollars, we went to watch a movie on a Tuesday (most theatres offer a Tuesday promotion where the price of a ticket is as low as $6.00). I saw how excited Jayden was to be on a date with his mama so that’s when I  decided to make it a tradition for us.

Swimming

Another thing that Jayden and I love to do is swim. I don’t know what it is about swimming but whenever I go, I feel like a kid again and have the best time ever!! Jayden, being the adventurous boy that he is, usually joins me in the deep end. I watch him jump off the diving board while I leisurely hang off the side of the pool cheering him on.

Dinner

If you want to be frugal like me, then you can Google “Free Kid Meals” and a whole bunch of restaurants will come up. Usually the restaurants offer you a free kids meal on a certain day and time in exchange for your email address. I’d say that’s a fair exchange since both Jayden and I love to eat!

Arcade

If you live in or around Metro-Vancouver, you can go to Metrotown and cash in twenty dollars for tokens and use the Arcade the “Old School” way. BUT if you want an even cooler experience you can head to Chilliwack and go to Castle Fun Park. Keep in mind that Castle Fun park does not take tokens or coins but rather a loaded card. So instead of inserting tokens you swipe a card.

Hiking

Well, I for sure wouldn’t be the one suggesting this activity, because I am afraid of sweat, but I know that Jayden just hiked this past weekend (with his dad) and he LOVED it. He felt so accomplished and nothing can beat that.

Library

I recently started going to the Library, and think this is a super fun way to get your children excited about reading. I know that Jayden can definitely use the motivation to read during the summer so something like ” the summer reading club” is  appealing to this mama. Did I mention that the Library is quiet?!

Park

Not only is going to the park FREE and this makes your wallet happy, but it also allows your child to play freely and use his/her imagination ! Something that is sadly starting to dwindle down this generation.

We really hope that you put some action into one of our suggestions. The most important thing is to have fun with your child!
